Gaza Bombing Barrage Kills, Wounds Dozens Of Civilians
(CTN News) – The Israeli occupying regime continues to wage a genocidal war against the besieged Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians over the past 24 hours.
According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA citing medical and local sources, civil defense and ambulance crews have recovered at least 25 bodies and dozens of wounded individuals following an Israeli airstrike targeting multiple homes in the al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City on Wednesday.
During the withdrawal of the occupation vehicles from the vicinity of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, seven bodies were also recovered.
Also targeted by the Israeli regime’s artillery were al-Manara and Batn al-Sameen neighborhoods, as well as the center and south of Khan Yunis.
A number of airstrikes were conducted by the Israeli military force east of the Jabalia refugee camp, and its air force also targeted the Ansar complex and a port west of Gaza City.
“There are still a number of people missing under rubble and on the roads, and ambulances and civil defense crews are unable to reach them,” WAFA stated.
Moreover, medical sources have warned of an escalating humanitarian crisis in the war-torn territory, indicating that 350,000 patients with chronic medical conditions are without medication in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Moreover, the news agency reported that communications and Internet services have been unavailable in Gaza for the sixth consecutive day due to the ongoing aggression by Israel.
After Hamas carried out the surprise operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity on October 7 in response to the Israeli regime’s atrocities against Palestinians, the Israeli regime launched the war against Gaza.
It is estimated that Israel has killed more than 24,448 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, and injured 61,504 Palestinians since the beginning of the aggression.
A “complete siege” is being imposed on the territory by the regime, which has resulted in the deprivation of fuel, electricity, food, and water for more than two million Palestinians.
