Covid-19 Is Detected In Jill Biden, But Not In The President

(CTN News) – There was a positive test for Covid performed by first lady Jill Biden on Monday night, according to the White House, marking the second time she has tested positive for the virus.

As a result of her illness, she is currently experiencing only mild symptoms, which are related to the illness.

The first Jill Biden lady’s communications director, Elizabeth Alexander, stated in a statement that the first lady will remain at her home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for the time being.

As we reported earlier this week, Joe Biden, a member of the United States senators who was scheduled to travel to India on Thursday for a meeting of the G20, has been found to be negative for the Covid virus.

In a statement issued by the White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, she said that the president “will be testing at a regular cadence this week and monitoring for any symptoms that may occur”.

The first lady’s positive results were revealed after the Jill Biden spent Labor Day weekend together as a family.

Earlier this year, Jill Biden tested positive for Covid in August of last year. There was a positive test conducted on Joe Biden the month before.

In recent months, there has been an increase in the number of Covid cases in the United States during the late summer months.

Scientists are keeping a close eye on two new variants of the virus, EG.5, currently Jill Biden the dominant strain, and BA.2.86, which has caught the attention of scientists because of the huge number of mutations it contains.

Several experts have stated that there is no threat facing the United States of America at the moment like there was in 2020 and 2021.

According to Mandy Cohen, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who spoke with NBC News last month, “We’re in a different place right now.” In her words, “I think we are in the best Jill Biden position ever to deal with these situations.”

Covid vaccines and booster shots are expected to be available in the fall as a result of new developments.
