Hair Loss treatment

Hair Loss Treatment: Losing hair is a natural process that happens to everyone, but it can be very frustrating and difficult to get through. There are many different ways of dealing with the problem such as using medications, using over-the-counter products, or going for surgical procedures.

You should always talk with your doctor before starting any medical treatment because there may be side effects associated with some of them.

What Can You Do To Stop Hair fall?

There are many things you can do to slow or stop hair loss. But what to do depends on the reason why you’re losing your hair. For example, if you’re losing hair due to postpartum, then simply taking care and conditioning your hair will be your best bet, since it will stop in six months or so when the hormonal changes that occurred after pregnancy go back to normal.

However, if you’re losing hair because of a scalp infection, then treating the infection first would be your way of stopping it from falling out. If you’re losing hair due to stress and depression, then your best option would be scalp massage and meditation therapies to reduce hair fall.

Here Are 6 Simple Actions That You Can Take To Stop Hair fall:

1) Take Vitamins & Minerals

If you don’t have enough biotin, zinc, selenium, vitamin A (which can be found in the cod liver oil), and vitamin C in your system, then your hair is going to become brittle weak which could lead to hair loss. You should make sure that you eat foods or take supplements to fix this issue.

Minerals are also an important part of the hair growth process, so you should make sure that your body is taking in more zinc and iron.

2) Avoid Heat Styling Tools

Heat styling tools such as hair dryers and flat irons can damage your hair because of the high temperatures they reach. So if you want to reduce stress on your hair, then you should avoid using them whenever possible or use a heat protectant before doing so.

If you insist on using them, try to not go over 400 degrees for very minimal damage. This will allow you to save some money by not having to get it cut every six weeks, which will also reduce stress for your hairline.

3) Be Gentle When You Shampoo Your Hair

It’s important that when washing your hair that you use a gentle shampoo instead of a harsh one. Also, you don’t want to wash your hair too often because it could remove too many natural oils causing dryness which can make your hair fall out even faster.

Treat yourself with some oil-based products if you feel like you need hydration after shampooing. Also, wash only the scalp area instead of applying shampoo all over your head to avoid damage to the length. Or you can also use Nisim’s shampoos. They promote hair growth while also making sure that they are gentle on your hair.

4) Minimize stress

Stress is one cause of hair loss that you need to watch out for. Our body releases cortisol during stressful situations which can lead to hair thinning and breakage. You should do whatever it takes to manage your stress levels so you could avoid losing hair because of this problem.

5) Take Good Care of Your Hair

Brushing, combing, washing, drying, cutting, straightening, curling – all these activities can damage your hair if done too often or with poor-quality tools. Make sure you only use the right products and tools when caring for your locks so you’ll have healthy-looking hair even after it falls out due to shedding.

6) Use Hair loss Shampoos

Don’t use any random drugstore brand for shampoo but rather go for specific brands created for hair loss. They would contain ingredients like ketoconazole, emu oil, saw palmetto extract, biotin, and caffeine which can strengthen your hair and protect it from damage.

Hair loss Medications For Faster Results

Supplements are always a good way to add nutrients if you don’t have enough in your diet or if you have a medical condition that requires supplementation. Some of the best supplements for stopping hair fall include high concentrations of biotin (10-30mg), zinc (25mg), vitamin A (5000IU/day), vitamin C (500mg), selenium (200mcg).

However, don’t take too many pills at once since they might combine and do more damage than good.

Propecia (Finasteride)

The best way to stop losing hair, in my opinion, is by taking Propecia (finasteride) which is an oral pill taken once a day. It works well when used on its own and it has been shown that people who take this medication have significantly less chance of having further hair loss than those who do not use Propecia. It also benefits men who already have male pattern baldness (androgenic alopecia).

I definitely recommend this product over any other because it has been clinically proven to slow and reverse hair loss. And the best part is that you can buy finasteride online without a prescription.

You should only use finasteride if your hair loss has progressed far enough and if it’s not less than 3 months since your last haircut. And always follow the dosage instructions on the package of course.

Minoxidil

Minoxidil is an effective treatment for hair loss and it’s also used to treat high blood pressure. It comes in the form of a tablet (for men and women) that you can take every day. The effects of minoxidil are only temporary, though, and you will still need to use it daily if you want to increase your chance of holding onto your luscious locks.

It might not be as effective as Propecia but it definitely works for women because it can stimulate circulation in the scalp which would result in healthier roots and shafts. So try this product out if finasteride doesn’t work for you because it’s best to always have an option to try something different.

It is important to mention that minoxidil can be dangerous if you have heart problems or are already on medications for high blood pressure because this medication can negatively interact with them. So be sure to consult with a doctor before starting minoxidil.

Phenylephrine

Phenylephrine is a decongestant that can help stimulate circulation in the scalp. The increased blood flow would then increase the number of nutrients that the hair follicles receive while increasing oxygen levels in your roots and shafts, which will prevent breakage while improving thickness.

You should not use phenylephrine if you have high blood pressure or heart problems because it can cause negative side effects if taken at high dosages. Other than that, check with your doctor first before buying this product so you’ll know how to properly take it for maximum effect without causing other unwanted complications.

Some people claim Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) works well against hair loss but there hasn’t been enough research done to prove that PPA is safe to use by everyone.
