Martin Short And Meryl Streep Go Out For A Cozy Night Out

(CTN News) – There were rumours of romance between Martin Short and Meryl Streep when the two appeared together in their latest movie.

In Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday night, the costars of Only Murders in the Building were seen enjoying dinner with friends at Giorgio Baldi, a restaurant that specializes in Italian cuisine.

In addition to the pink button down under the red jacket, Meryl wore a pair of black pants as well as a pair of black pants for the casual night out, while Martin Short wore a gray sweater and a black blazer.

It has been rumored for a while that Streep and Martin Short are romantically linked after they appeared close at the Golden Globes last month, but they have continued to deny those rumors.

During an interview with People magazine at the time, the 73-year-old actor said that the twosome were just very good friends and nothing more than that.

In an interview Martin Short with Bill Maher on his Club Random podcast, he echoed similar sentiments by stating: “We’re not a couple, but we’re just very close friends who work together quite a bit.”.

Prior to his marriage to actress Nancy Dolman, Martin Short was married to her for 30 years before her passing away in 2010 from ovarian cancer complications. They had three children together over the years: Katherine Elizabeth, 40, Oliver Patrick, 37, and Henry Hayter, 34, who are all now grown up and living on their own.

In the meantime, the star of Devil Wears Prada has announced her separation from her husband Don Grummer after 45 years of marriage, which took place in October 2023.
