WhatsApp Is Set To Roll Out An Updated Feature That Will Make Life Easier For Users

(CTN News) – Earlier this week, WhatsApp introduced a brand new feature – the ability for multiple WhatsApp accounts to be used on the same phone.

Multi-device messaging was one of the new features added to the platform last year. I would like to point out that the feature has been expanded from last year.

WhatsApp claims that despite the fact that it had been highly requested, there are now no longer any security or privacy concerns that were preventing the application of this extremely requested feature as a result of security concerns.

WhatsApp Security and privacy across multiple devices

With the new feature, users are able to connect their phone to a single account as one of four additional devices that will share a single experience.

This means that users will be able to sync their phones, web browsers, tablets, and desktops, allowing for seamless messaging between phones, web browsers, tablets, and desktops.

A device will be able to independently connect to WhatsApp, ensuring that the private messages, media, and calls are encrypted end-to-end between the device and server.

WhatsApp automatically logs out users who are logged in from all connected devices if the primary device remains inactive for an extended period of time. This is to assist in ensuring the safety of users.

In this case, it is possible to switch between two devices and keep messaging simultaneously without the worry of being interrupted by switching between devices.

This feature will also be available to business accounts in the near future, allowing business owners to allow additional employees access to their business accounts and to reply directly to customers directly through their WhatsApp business accounts.

There have already been a few users who have received the update and the rest of the users will be receiving it in the coming weeks.

Moreover, WhatsApp will introduce a new method of connecting devices to the app that will make it easier to use. By entering their phone number instead of scanning a QR code for a one-time code, they will be able to receive a one-time code rather than scanning a QR code in the first place.
