Twitter Blue Subscribers Have Good News From Elon Musk

(CTN News) – With every advance move Elon Musk has made regarding Twitter since he took over the website a few months ago, his decisions have become more and more ludicrous.

His first move was to condition the possession of a blue verification badge on a subscription.

He also made Twitter Blue subscribers enjoy the advantage of tweets with longer characters, the ability to edit tweets, tweaking the website’s algorithm, as well as recently announcing the removal of accounts that were no longer active.

The tech billionaire has unveiled his latest bid to conquer the world with the launch of his latest app update, which allows users to upload videos that can be up to two hours long and eight gigabytes in size.

Just a few hours ago, Musk himself announced the development on his Twitter account.

You can now upload videos up to two hours in length (8GB) if you are a Twitter Blue Verified subscriber! This was written on Twitter by him.

A comment was even added to Musk’s tweet after the announcement was made that appeared to be the complete Shrek the Third movie in response to the announcement of the business magnate. There is, however, a report from The Verge that the video has been taken down later on.

It has been announced that users subscribed to Twitter Blue will be able to upload videos at 1080 pixels resolution sized less than 8GB, according to Musk’s tweet.

In addition to that, the longer two-hour video uploads are also only available if you are uploading from the web or iOS, as per a support document. If you’re on Android, you are currently only allowed to upload videos that are 10 minutes in length at the most,” technology publication The Verge reported.

Regular users of the application will still be able to post videos up to 140 seconds long as long as they are within the limit.

In addition, Twitter is still looking for a way to share advertising revenue with Blue subscribers even though Musk said in February that this feature was already available to subscribers.
