Chiang Rai United snatched a solid 2-0 victory over Khon Kaen United in their recent match. The team took control early on, dominating possession and pressing hard. Khon Kaen United struggled to find their rhythm, unable to break through a tight defense of Chiang Rai.

In the first quarter Khon Kaen United had a chance to take the lead from a long-range shot from outside the box by Brenner Alves. The ball went straight to the goal, but was saved by Aphirak Worawong, the goalkeeper of Chiang Rai United.
