BANGKOK – The UK Government-Funded Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Thailand hosted its flagship 2026 Investor Engagement Event on 5 November in Bangkok. The event brought together more than 90 institutional investors, climate tech entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and policy experts to accelerate private capital deployment into Thailand’s green economy.
CFA Thailand provides targeted technical support to climate businesses to improve their bankability, refine financial structures, and enhance appeal to financiers.

The 2026 cohort features nine scalable, high-impact businesses in the Climate Tech, Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU), Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, E-Mobility and Circular Economy sectors. They have a combined 12-months investment ask of approximately USD $104 million, and a USD $475 million three-year investment pipeline:

British Ambassador to Thailand, Nicola Pollitt said:
“It was a privilege to attend the CFA Thailand Investor Showcase and meet so many exciting climate entrepreneurs. Hearing about their innovative climate solutions and seeing their commitment to building a low-carbon future for Thailand was inspiring. Climate cooperation is a key part of the UK–Thailand partnership, from supporting the clean energy transition and mobilising green finance to building greater climate resilience.
The CFA is a great example of how we can bring together UK expertise, Thai innovation, and investment to turn climate ambition into practical solutions. I hope that today’s event proves to be the start of many fruitful conversations and connections between the businesses and investors.”
