Thailand to Offer Free Vaccine Passports for International Travel

On Friday, the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced Thailand plans to issue free e-vaccine passports for overseas travelers. The electronic version of the Covid-19 certificate can be downloaded from the Mor Phrom application.

It added that a date for the launch of the e-version of the vaccination certificate would be announced later.

Travelers should check whether the country they plan to enter accepts an electronic certificate, CCSA spokesman Taweesilp Visanuyothin said.

Thais and foreigners vaccinated in Thailand can order the print edition of the certificate by registering in the app and paying 50 baht for it.

The Mor Prom call center can be reached at 02 792 2333 if foreigners have problems obtaining the digital vaccine certificate. For foreigners who have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine from an alternate system, please check the vaccination appointment on Expatvac.

The digital vaccine certificate section in the Mor Prom application can be accessed if the vaccine has a 13-digit Mor Prom number. If you received your vaccination in a private hospital they can issue you a 13 digit number.

Once you have been issued your 13 digit number you can download and register with the Mor Prom App. Your digital vaccination certificates will be accessible through the Mor Prom App. Once you have received your second vaccination shot you will then be able to register for an International vaccine passport.
