Saudi Arabia Allows Women To Get Hajj Permits Without Requiring a ‘mahram’
(CTN News) – The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has just just introduced an improved system that allows Saudi women to get hajj permits on their own without the need for a male relative, known as a “mahram.”
Submit An Application For Permission By Visiting to the Department of Civil Affairs
People who do not have access to a mahram but still wish to submit an application for permission can do so by visiting to the Department of Civil Affairs within the Ministry of the Interior.
It is necessary to decide which category the online application falls under, as well as the pilgrim’s companionship and the nature of their relationship with their partner.
The Passport Department should be contacted by any foreign national who is currently residing in the nation and desires to submit an application for a hajj permit.
Hajj Permit 1444 AH would begin on 15 Shawwal, 5 May 2023
It was declared by the Ministry of Haj and Umrah that the distribution of Hajj Permit 1444 AH will commence on the 15th of Shawwal, which is the 5th of May 2023.
The individual is required to have all of the prescribed immunizations in order to be eligible for a hajj permit.
According to the Ministry, the applicant will not be granted the Haj visa until they have gotten the immunisation, which must be administered no later than ten days before the start of the Hajj season.
This requirement must be met in order to acquire the visa.
