(CTN News) – The State Bank Of India has recently issued a notification cautioning applicants about fraudulent websites that publish fake lists of selected candidates for bank appointments.
In order to ensure authenticity, the State Bank Of India has emphasized that the names of shortlisted candidates are never announced. Instead, the bank only releases the roll number and registration number of the selected candidates for each post.
It is advised to cross-verify any communication received with the websites mentioned in the notification. The official statement from SBI states that certain individuals have created websites that mimic the appearance of SBI’s official site.
These fraudulent websites have published fake selection lists for SBI positions and have even issued counterfeit appointment letters in the name of the State Bank Of India.
The notification emphasizes that the State Bank Of India does not disclose the names of shortlisted/selected candidates on its website. Instead, only roll numbers/registration numbers are published, and the shortlisted/selected candidates are individually notified through SMS/Email/Post.
All recruitment-related information, such as notices, interview schedules, and final results, is exclusively published on the official website.
In light of this, the State Bank Of India recently announced a series of exam results. Additionally, the schedules for the preliminary examination for the recruitment of junior associates (customer support and sales) and clerks have been released. These schedules can be accessed on the official website.
The exams are scheduled to take place on January 5, 6, 11, and 12. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 8,773 vacant positions. Furthermore, the SBI clerk main exam is expected to be conducted in February 2024.
