BYD Delivers First Batch Of NEVs To Hungary
(CTN News) – As part of its development in the Central and Eastern European market, BYD has delivered its first batch of BYD ATTO 3 energy cars in Hungary, marking a new milestone in the company’s expansion throughout the region.
In October 2023, BYD entered the Hungarian market with its passenger car business, bringing the brand to the market for the first time. Since then, the BYD brand has achieved rapid growth and development in the Hungarian market.
Besides offering consumers a range of integrated services, the company also works with large local dealers to offer consumers a range of services ranging from vehicle purchase consultation to after-sales assistance as a part of its partnership with local dealers.
It is estimated that there are currently three stores in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, and the company plans to continue establishing a wide network of sales and service centers across the whole country in the near future.
There are expectations that will open approximately 60 stores in Hungary by the end of 2024, an increase of one store compared to the number of stores it has at the moment.
According to BYD’s data, its exports grew by more than 334 percent in 2023, reaching over 240,000 units, with its reach extending to more than 70 countries and regions in six continents, with the company’s exports spanning more than 70 countries and regions.
