Over 50 Family Members In Northern Gaza Tragically Killed In Israeli Attack.

(CTN News) – According to Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki, the Israeli attack targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in the tragic loss of more than 50 Qadoura family members.

Al-Maliki shared the devastating news at a press conference attended by Arab and Muslim foreign ministers in London. He emphasized that the victims ranged from grandparents to grandchildren and that he has a list of all 52 people who tragically died in the attack.

Today, a significant development occurred as the Israeli government and Hamas reached an agreement for a four-day ceasefire.

This ceasefire will allow for the release of 50 hostages held in Gaza in exchange for 150 Palestinians imprisoned in Israel, as well as the entry of much-needed humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave.

Qatar, along with the US, Israel, Gaza, and Hamas, have been engaged in secret negotiations for several days, with all parties expressing optimism that a deal was close.

It is believed that Hamas is currently holding over 200 hostages, taken during their incursion into Israel on October 7th, which resulted in the deaths of 1,200 people according to Israeli reports.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has announced that a total of 50 women and children will be freed over a span of four days, accompanied by a temporary cessation of hostilities.

It is worth noting that intense fighting erupted in Gaza subsequent to a surprise assault by Hamas on Israel on October 7, resulting in the Gaza loss of approximately 1,200 lives.

In response to these attacks, Israel initiated an unyielding bombing campaign and launched a ground offensive in the Gaza Strip. The health ministry reports that the relentless Israeli airstrikes have tragically claimed the lives of over 13,300 individuals, including numerous children.
