(CTN News) – Intermittent heavy rain showers have persisted to inundate various regions of Islamabad, and there have been significant downpours in numerous locations.

Shamsabad received the most precipitation, with 48 millimeters. Saidpur, Kutchehry, and Golra followed with 19 millimeters, 5 millimeters, and 3 millimeters, respectively.

The humidity has been significantly diminished as a consequence of the consistent heavy rain, and the forecast predicts that the precipitation will persist for the duration of the day.

Areas of the capital city, including G-7, Blue Area, Abpara, and Zero Point, have experienced substantial heavy rain. In addition, Embassy Road, Rawal Dam, Bari Imam, and Bhara Kahu have all reported precipitation.

The temperature has risen to a more comfortable level, providing a much-needed respite from the oppressive humidity.

Punjab.

In contrast, Lahore has been subjected to severe heavy rain in numerous locations, resulting in localized flooding. The highest amount of rainfall was recorded in Gulshan-e-Ravi, at 45 millimeters.

Additional localities, such as Tajpura, Mughalpura, Lakshmi Chowk, and Gulberg, have also reported receiving a significant degree of precipitation.

25 millimeters of heavy rain fell at Qartaba Chowk.

While Pani Wala Talab received 22 millimeters, Lakshmi Chowk received 21 millimeters, Iqbal Town received 12 millimeters, Samanabad received 10 millimeters, Farrukhabad received 10 millimeters, Jail Road received 8 millimeters, Mughalpura received 7 millimeters, Upper Mall received 6 millimeters, and Gulberg received 5 millimeters.

In contrast, Gujrat encountered substantial challenges as a consequence of the flooding of the primary highways and streets within an hour of Heavy Rain, and the water was able to infiltrate residential areas.

Rescue 1122 technicians are actively relocating individuals to safer locations, as the municipal corporation’s personnel are currently experiencing difficulty managing the situation. Regrettably, the situation has become even more dismal as a consequence of the district government’s absence and the collapse of flood relief centers.

The accumulation of water in low-lying regions in Pindi Bhattian as a result of a substantial quantity of rainfall led to power outages. Similar issues with power supply disruptions were experienced in Jhelum as a consequence of feeder tripping and flooding in low-lying districts such as Bilal Town, Muhammadi Chowk, and Civil Line Road.

Examples of these regions include Civil Line Road. Nevertheless, the weather in Jhelum and the adjacent regions has been more pleasant, with intermittent showers.

In Wazirabad and the surrounding villages, there was a significant amount of Heavy Rain and thunder. Consequently, numerous feeders were tripped, resulting in widespread power disruptions.

Additionally, Sialkot experienced intermittent precipitation, which contributed to the favorable weather conditions in the region.

Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha, Khushab, Sheikhupura, and Sahiwal are among the locations where additional precipitation is expected, as per the Met Office.

Srinagar and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region

Conversely, the following locations are expected to experience precipitation: Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Haripur, Peshawar, Kurram, Kohat, Bannu, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan.

The weather in numerous locations has become comfortable as a result of the substantial rainfall that has occurred in Azad Kashmir. The Met Department has predicted that there will be additional rain in Muzaffarabad, and Heavy Rain was reported in the Leepa Valley, Jhelum Valley, and Neelum Valley.

Bhimber has been subjected to continuous rainfall since the evening, which has affected numerous regions, including Samahni and Barnala. Consequently, the power has been suspended, and water has infiltrated Barnala Bazar.

Those from Sindh and Balochistan

Today, there is also a possibility of precipitation in various locations throughout Quetta, Ziarat, Khuzdar, Zhob, and Musakhel.

Furthermore, there is a likelihood that Heavy Rain ll may occur in Karachi, Thatta, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, and Dadu. This would result in a decrease in temperature and offer relief from the humidity.

Pakistan has experienced both relief and challenges as a result of the consistent rainfall.

Although it has enhanced climatic conditions, it has also resulted in modifications to the daily lives of individuals. It is highly advised that the authorities implement preventative measures to mitigate the effects of flooding and power disruptions on the residents.
