(CTN News) – Muay Thai fans are in for a treat on August 3, as four extra fights in the discipline have been added to the ONE Fight Night 24: Brooks v Balart schedule.

The first bout set to close the show at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, is between Aliff Sor Dechapan and Zakaria El Jamari.

El Jamari has come in at short notice to replace Thongpoon PK Saenchai in the strawweight Muay Thai battle. The 34-year-old is riding a surge of confidence after defeating Thongpoon by unanimous decision in May.

Aliff blitzed his way through the ONE Lumpinee platform with four straight wins, but he is now aiming to get back on track following two setbacks against elite opponents as a full-fledged member of the ONE team.

Further up the board, Ferrari Fairtex will look to make it five straight triumphs as he invites Russian power puncher Dmitrii Kovtun to the global scene.

Ferrari is undoubtedly aiming to strengthen his case for another position in the bantamweight Muay Thai rankings, but Kovtun can steal his thunder with a statement win in his professional debut.

Then, Dedduanglek TDed99 and Nakrob Fairtex will square off in a flyweight Muay Thai rematch.

Nakrob took the first blood in the burgeoning rivalry in November, defeating Dedduanglek via third-round TKO.

The Thai pair have found themselves on a collision course once more as Dedduanglek returned with a unanimous decision victory over long-time divisional challenger Taiki Naito, while Nakrob has three more wins, including a spectacular one-round annihilation of Tagir Khalilov.

Prior to the evening’s marquee bouts, Thai-Algerian sensation Nabil Anane will face former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship challenger Felipe Lobo in an attempt to crash the bantamweight Muay Thai rankings.

The 20-year-old rising sensation is hoping to extend his three-fight winning streak against Lobo, but “The Demolition Man” has bigger intentions.

Lobo is presently ranked third in its division.

The Brazilian is keen for another go at two-sport king Jonathan “The General” Haggerty after scoring an early knockdown against the Brit in his ultimately unsuccessful world title bid in February.

The ONE interim strawweight MMA world title fight between Jarred Brooks of the United States and Gustavo Balart of Cuba will be the main event at ONE Fight Night 24.
