PHUKET – VietJet Thailand joins the Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2025, supporting Thai tourism momentum during the high season. The initiative aligns with the growing trend of cultural and wellness tourism, especially among younger travellers, and reflects the airline’s strategy to connect global travellers with Thailand’s destinations sustainably.
VietJet Thailand has prepared vegetarian menus and organized special activities, welcoming visitors to enjoy lucky draws, receive travel discounts, and win grand prizes at VietJet Thailand’s booth near the entrance at the Bang Niew Shrine Intersection, Phuket, from October 21–29, 2025.
Mr. Pinyot Pibulsonggram, Vice President of Commercial and Customer Service of VietJet Thailand, stated that “VietJet Thailand is committed to promoting Thailand’s economy and tourism industry by providing memorable travel experiences at great value. The Tourism Authority of Thailand expects over 600,000 visitors this year, generating an estimated 22 billion THB in economic impact. Supporting the festival aligns with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ “Big Impact Act Fast” policy, which aims to elevate local events and traditions to the international stage.
This year, VietJet Thailand adds even more excitement to the Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2025 with activity booths located at the Bang Niew Shrine Intersection entrance.
Visitors can join the ‘Snap & Share’ activity by taking photos with VietJet’s archway entrance and posting them on social media with the hashtags #เที่ยวภูเก็ตอิ่มบุญสุขใจ #VietJetThailand #เวียตเจ็ทตัวจริงสุวรรณภูมิ #meatzeroกินดีได้ดีกินโปรตีนดีจากพืช to receive a CP plant-based menu item and enter lucky draws to receive souvenirs from VietJet’s partners, including a daily grand prize of a round-trip flight ticket from VietJet Thailand.
Another activity, ‘Enjoy with Fun” invites visitors to like and share the VietJet Facebook page to receive a 50 THB flight voucher (limited to 50 vouchers per day).
“Aside from this initiative, VietJet Thailand continues to drive its mission of connecting global travellers with Thailand’s hidden gems through collaborations with government agencies, private sectors, and provincial organizations.
The airline works to enhance travel accessibility and promote cultural tourism that generates tangible economic value for local businesses, including operators, hotels, restaurants, and community enterprises.
