CHIANG RAI – The fourth match of the Thai League 1 2025-26 season saw Ayutthaya United, known as the Warriors of Ayutthaya, host Singha Chiangrai United at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Stadium.

Ayutthaya United took an early lead just four minutes in. Kaike Lemes unleashed a powerful shot from distance, hitting the crossbar. The ball bounced out, landing perfectly for Yassir Islami. He chested it down and hammered it past the keeper, putting the home side ahead 1-0.

But the match changed in the 12th minute. Phuminchana Kamkla of Ayutthaya United was shown a red card after a high-foot tackle inside the penalty area. The referee judged it to be a dangerous play, sending him off and awarding a penalty to Chiangrai United.
