(CTN News) – Trump answered the phone after the failed Anchorage meeting. He told Volodymyr Zelenskyy about his Putin talks outside Ukraine and Europe in Kyiv.

Zelenskyy agreed to meet at the White House on Monday. An unknown topic will be debated. No truce, territorial concessions, or Ukraine’s political future have been reached by Putin and Trump.

Our journalist Nicolas Connolly said Kyiv was delighted would not surrender Ukraine to Moscow. The Russian aggressors and Ukrainian army resumed war and drone attacks during the Alaska conference.

Putin wins.

A Berlin government spokeswoman said informed Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other European leaders about Alaska negotiations that morning. Merz and Europeans discussed options. Germans opposed  smmit deal.

Europe desires a Trump-Putin-Zelenskyy summit. Bundestag foreign policy experts initially doubted a resolution.

Summit victor Putin. US officials received him at the highest level to avoid repercussions. In interviews, CDU Bundestag member Norbert Röttgen said he accomplished this without concessions.

Just four minutes for Trump.

Trump enjoys talking about his negotiation and statesmanship talents. The Alaskan experience was unique. Four-minute press conferences were rare for the “deal-maker in chief”. Three-hour “extremely productive meeting.”

He claimed “one big thing” remained after their many agreements. Not yet. Maybe “Trump sounded nice. US president did not elaborate. Ukraine was not mentioned by Trump.

Once he acknowledged Russia’s actions. We will end 5,000 weekly deaths. Putin wants “said. Trump ignored the reality that Putin, a former KGB spy, could stop Ukraine strikes immediately and accomplish this.

Trump believing Russia’s story?

The Moscow visitor was quiet and friendly. He undoubtedly indicated Ukraine’s “situation” was about Russia’s security. Putin said treating “brotherly people of Ukraine is a tragedy for us, a terrible wound.” “Our nation wants it gone.” Putin instructed Russia to counter “provocations.”

He informed Trump on this change during Alaska talks. Many who follow the 79-year-old US president’s mood swings and strange utterances claim he repeats what he hears. How prevalent will the Russian tale be?

Zelenskyy rules Moscow.

Last Wednesday, the US President appeared to shield Ukraine. “largely” supported Western demands on Russia, said Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Berlin-based The Merz virtual preparatory conference created five Alaska discussion goals. These included demanding Ukraine choose its territory and peace terms. Brief statement emphasized this need. “They”—Olympia and Ukraine—deciding.

Trump pledged to call them immediately for talks. Russia may not respond to these talks. Told reporters Zelenskyy must negotiate with Moscow before returning to Washington. “To discuss all of the details regarding ending the killing and war,” Zelenskyy stated on X.

European leaders joined after a one-hour call. “We support President proposal for a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the US, and Russia,” Zelenskyy tweeted. He adds “It is important that Europeans are involved at every stage to ensure reliable security guarantees together with America.”

Trump curiously submissive to Putin

After the meeting, Trump told reporters he had a “fantastic relationship with President Putin, with Vladimir.” He termed Putin “smart guy.” before meeting.

He warned weeks earlier that Putin speaks gibberish and betrays his promises, intensifying his attacks on Ukraine with each phone call. With Putin, Trump is protected.

Trump charged. He relaxes with state guests. Putin’s eight-minute joint press conference on Russian-American history left coldly smiling. His expression was the same in Helsinki 2018. Both men reached their first long peak.

Trump became isolated by trusting the Kremlin over his intelligence. Putin applauded Ukraine deal and US-Russia collaboration. He said the “roots of the conflict” must go. He meant Ukraine’s Western relations, Eastern European NATO membership, and eastern border NATO troops.

Next up: Moscow?

Few results were released. Neither a ceasefire nor plans were given. Trump has promised Putin and the Ukrainian president a trilateral summit if Alaska passed. No one mentioned that following the talks. “We may see each other soon,” said the US president.

Russian Putin invited to Moscow in English, confusing him.”That could possibly happen,” despite criticism. Volodymyr Zelenskyy rarely attended Moscow meetings. Trump threatened “severe consequences” if Putin did not agree to a truce before the summit.

Future economic sanctions against Russia’s trading partners like India and China remain unknown. The US president said “after what happened today, higher tariffs against China are unlikely.” Sadly, provided little information.
