PATTAYA – Police in Chonburi say they’ve now detained all four suspects tied to a 2 million baht safe robbery at a housing village in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung. While every suspect continues to deny the accusations, investigators say they have solid evidence, including key CCTV footage.
The robbery happened on February 26 in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chonburi. After that, officers from Pattaya Nong Prue Police Station, Region 2 investigators, Chonburi provincial police, and Immigration Police coordinated a wider search.
By the evening of February 28, police had already taken three suspects into custody. All three are British nationals and were later named in arrest warrants issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court for the charge of “joint robbery.”
The Three Suspects were Identified as:
- Palmer Jermaine (20), arrested at the Padang Besar Immigration checkpoint in Sadao District, Songkhla
- Christopher Eranse (38), arrested at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok
- Tyhool Junior Michael Campbell (32), arrested at a hotel in Prakhon Chai District, Buriram
Police reported that each suspect denied all charges. Authorities then sent them to court for the first detention request on March 2, 2026.
Final Suspect Arrested in Bang Lamung
Next, at 5:00 p.m. on March 3, 2026, investigators said they arrested the last suspect, described as a key figure in the robbery.
Police identified him as Brandon Taylor Garrett (26), a British national wanted under Pattaya Provincial Court warrant No. 126/2569, dated February 28, 2026. The listed charge was “joint robbery with a weapon and using a vehicle to commit the offense, to carry away the property, or to escape arrest.”
Officers arrested him at a rental house in Nong Pla Lai, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.
During the arrest, Garrett denied every allegation. He also claimed he didn’t know the victim or the three suspects arrested earlier. However, police said a search of the rental home turned up items they consider important to the case, including:
- Two iPhones
- Cash totaling 260,660 baht
- Multiple clothing items are believed to match what was worn during the robbery
- Bank money bands
- The suspect’s passport
Officers seized all items as evidence. Police also coordinated with forensic officers to examine the scene and collect latent fingerprints and DNA to support the case file. After that, investigators brought Garrett in for further questioning at Nong Prue Police Station.
With the fourth arrest, police say they now have all suspects in custody. Even so, investigators expect a continued fight from the suspects because all four have denied the charges.
Still, police say they have strong supporting evidence. Most importantly, CCTV footage from an elevator and around an apartment building in the Jomtien area reportedly shows all four suspects together after the incident.
Investigators also pointed to clothing tied to the safe robbery as another key piece of evidence. Police added that the four suspects were close friends of the victim.
