Woman, 69 Struck and Killed By Pickup in Mae Chan, Chiang Rai

A 69-year-old woman has died after a pickup truck collided with her motorcycle in the middle of the road in Mae Chan district of Chiang Rai Province. At 6:30 p.m. on August 6, 2024, the Mae Chan Saeng Tham Rescue Foundation was notified that a pickup truck had collided with a motorcycle, resulting in a fatality.

The accident occurred on Highway No. 1 at the U-turn near the entrance to Wat San Khue, Pa Sang Subdistrict, Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province.

At the scene, a gray Isuzu pickup truck was found to have collided with a black Honda sidecar motorcycle. Nearby, the body of the deceased was found.

Police officers from Mae Chan Police Station inspected the scene along with the doctor on duty before handing over the body to the Mae Chan Saeng Tham Public Welfare Foundation volenteers to take for an autopsy at Mae Chan Hospital.
