The Jakarta Department of Tourism and Creative Economy (Disparekraf) is strongly reaffirming the city’s position as a premier MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibition) and tourism destination in Asia.
Jakarta’s strategic presence at the prestigious IT&CM Asia 2025 in Bangkok aims to capture more international business and leisure visitors.
Under the theme “Jakarta: A World-Class MICE Destination,” our delegation represents a powerful collaboration with 13 top industry stakeholders, including five-star hotels, major convention venues, and key associations (like ASPERAPI). This united front showcases Jakarta’s ability to deliver comprehensive, unmatched MICE packages.
Andhika Permata, Head of Jakarta Disparekraf, stated, “IT&CM Asia is the ideal platform to show the world that Jakarta is no longer merely a gateway; we are a self-sufficient destination ready to host large-scale global events. We offer world-class infrastructure, modern venues, and unique experiences that guarantee memorable events.”
Jakarta’s pitch highlights several key advantages: Cutting-Edge MICE Facilities, Dynamic Tourist Experiences (from culinary delights to rich history), Flexible and Competitive Packages, and a Commitment to Security and Prime Service.
This participation is expected to foster significant long-term partnerships, boosting Jakarta’s contribution to the global tourism and creative economy market, according to the Jakarta Department of Tourism and Creative Economy.
Lucky Wulandari, Head of the Foreign Tourism Marketing Subgroup, concluded that Jakarta’s participation in IT&CM Asia 2025 is expected to generate long-term partnerships and significantly contribute to the growth of the tourism and creative economy sectors in the global market.
