(CTN News) – On Friday, the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, disclosed that he has given orders for the deployment of two nuclear submarines in various regions close to Russia.

He asserted that he was the one who issued the command. These measures were taken in response to threats made by Dmitry Medvedev, a former president of Russia.

Trump made the following statement in an announcement that was published on his platform, Truth Social: “Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev…

I have ordered two nuclear submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that.”

“Words can have unintended consequences;

I hope this will not be one of those instances.” The words made by the President of the United States did not make it clear if he was referring to nuclear-powered submarines or submarines that were armed with nuclear weapons.

In addition to this, he did not disclose any other information regarding the sites, which are being kept secret by the United States military. The United States of America and Russia are in charge of the vast majority of the nuclear arsenals that are currently being utilized all over the planet.

The United States of America maintains nuclear-armed submarines in the water for the purpose of conducting patrols within the framework of the so-called nuclear triad, which consists of weapons fired from the air, sea, and land.

In his response, President Trump did not particularly cite the words made by Medvedev that provoked the exceedingly rare public exhibition of nuclear saber-rattling.

It was Medvedev who came up with the idea for the show. These allegations were never expressly acknowledged by Trump in any of his statements on the subject. In his description of the current position, Medvedev used the phrase “playing the ultimatum game.”

On Monday, President Trump made a commitment to impose additional sanctions on Russia as a response to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. President Medvedev vehemently disapproved of this promise during his tenure.

Medvedev said he was condemning Trump for his threat.

While he was criticizing Trump for “playing the ultimatum game,” he stated on X that Trump “should remember” that Russia had a vast power structure. He claimed that Trump was playing the ultimatum game. At the same time, all of this was happening concurrently.

In the event that a fresh ultimatum is issued, it is equivalent to a call to arms and represents a step toward engaging in violent activity. Instead of claiming that the conflict was between Russia and Ukraine, the Russian ambassador stated in his statement that the conflict was with his own country, which was where he was stationed at the time.

From this point forward, Medvedev will serve as the deputy leader of the Security Council of the Russian government.

Medvedev, who was a member of the Russian government at the time, is not only a fervent backer of President Vladimir Putin’s efforts in Ukraine, but he also maintains generally antagonistic relations with the Western world.

To serve as a proxy for Vladimir Putin, who was able to avoid constitutional term limitations and maintain de facto presidential authority, he served as president for one term, from 2008 to 2012, and he served in that capacity from 2008 to 2012.

The office was only held by him for a single term. It was just for one term that he served as president of the United States of America.
