CHIANGRAI – Thailand’s northernmost province that is renowned for its pristine natural beauty and the rich indigenous culture of its various hill tribe communities, will offer a dramatic setting for the upcoming season finale of The Bachelor
The Bachelor may not be a well-known for audiences in Thailand, but it has gained huge popularity since its debut in 2002. Now it come to season 17 and the final final rose ceremony filmed in Chiang Rai Thailand.
There has been a mixup about Anantara Golden Triangle Resort & Spa, another luxury hotel in Golden Triangle area. It is the hotel where the girls and Sean stayed – and where they had overnight dates, but the final rose ceremony actually took place in Pa Sak Tong Villa which is located about 90 kms away.
The final rose ceremony was held just outside of Chiang Rai, Thailand at the Pa Sak Tong Villa. Sean made Catherine’s dreams come true when he proposed to her, and sent a devastated runner-up AshLee Frazier home.
The series revolves around a single bachelor and a pool of romantic interests, which could include a potential wife for the bachelor. The conflicts in the series, both internal and external, stem from the elimination-style format of the show.
Early in the season, the bachelor goes on large group dates with the women, with the majority of women eliminated during rose ceremonies. As the series progresses, women are also eliminated on one-on-one dates and on elimination two-on-one dates. The process culminates with hometown visits to the families of the final four women, overnight dates at exotic locations with the final three women, and interaction with the bachelor’s family with the final two women. In many cases, the bachelor proposes to his final selection.
