Nok Air adds Bangkok – Chiang Rai Route

Nok Air, the truly Thai airline that flies smiles, dedicated to expanding the flying experience for all travelers, today announced 2 daily “Bangkok – Chiang Rai”, as it further expands its steadily growing domestic network with a promotion price 1,290 Baht NET per flight.

“We are very excited about adding “Bangkok – Chiang Rai”, as the latest route in our domestic network”, said Mr. Patee Sarasin, CEO of Nok Air.  “We are pleased to be able to provide further convenience to travelers from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, as we add to the 18 existing provinces in Thailand we now fly to”.

“This latest route has brought us even closer to achieving one of our aims, which is to take Thais to see the beauty of their country, to see families and family members that they haven’t seen in years, to allow Thais to travel quickly and comfortably, whether for pleasure or for business, and to do all this at prices that are affordable to all” Patee added

Nok Air will operate 2 daily flights from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Rai beginning 28 December 2011, using a Boeing 737-400, with capacity up to 168 seats. Reservations for flights can be made now on the Nok Air website, www.nokair.com, www.nokfanclub.com or at Nok Air’s Call Center at 1318.  Promotion prices start from THB 1,290 net per flight (all inclusive, promotion seats are limited in each flight and may not be available on some flights, booking period is 15-26 December 2011, 09:00 p.m. – 08:00 a.m. only via www.nokair.com, www.nokfanclub.com  and traveling period is 28 December 2011 – 24 March 2012).
