Chiang Rai to hold Flower Festival Between 13 and 15 February
TERNG – Chiang Rai will hold another flower festival between 13 and 15 February, known as the Phu Chi Fah Flower Festival at Phu Chi Fah mountain range in Terng district. Visitors can enjoy Dok Seaw or orchid tree in full bloom, the sea of cloud– the trademark of Phu Chi Fah as well as watching art and cultural performances, local sports competitions, a Miss Dok Seaw contest and handicraft demonstrations.

There are wedding ceremonies linked to Valentine’s Day throughout the country but possibly the most famous is Trang’s underwater wedding ceremony, 13 to 15 February. A mountain wedding ceremony will be held in Prachin Buri, 14 February, where couples will sign their marriage certificates while suspended on a platform over the cliff of a waterfall.
In the north, a wedding ceremony will be held during the Pai Love Festival, 13 to 15 February at the town’s bridge. Pai  is popular with Bangkok residents and identified by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as one of original “chic” destinations during the cool season when it is packed out with mainly young travelers.
Also the Pong Pha Flower and Strawberry Festival in Mae Sai district Chiang Rai will run from 1 to 28 February. The event will feature strawberries and products made from the fruit, flower contests and an exhibition, cultural performances booths selling local products.
