CHIANG RAI – Low-cost carrier HK Express has announced plans to launch the first direct connection between Chiang Rai and Hong Kong, which will commence on 25 November 2016. Initially the service will run twice a week, with departures every Monday and Friday.

Andrew Cowen, director & CEO of HK Express said Hong Kong travellers love to explore off-the-beaten-track destinations, and we’re thrilled to be able to provide the only non-stop flight to Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai International Airport.

The second half of the year will be filled with announcements to a mix of new destinations for every type of traveller, whether you’re after a beach break or a city retreat, Andrew Cowen said.
