Premier League Champions Chelsea to Play Thailand All-Stars May 30th
BANGKOK – The UK’s Premier League champions Chelsea have announced a second game of their post-season tour, this time in Thailand.
The Blues will return to Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium, the venue for Jose Mourinho’s first match of his second spell in July 2013, with a match against Thailand All-Stars on May 30.
Chelsea, who sealed the title with three games to go with last Sunday’s defeat of Crystal Palace, had already announced plans to play Sydney FC in the ANZ Stadium on June 2.
Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck said on chelseafc.com: “We are very pleased to finalize our post-season schedule and I look forward to visiting Bangkok again.
“Our visits to Asia are always memorable, and I know the team will be well received by our tremendous supporters in Thailand.
“I am sure Jose and the team will deliver a performance to entertain as we celebrate what has been such an excellent season.”
