Foreign Tourists Praised for Helping Injured Thai Soldier in Chiang Mai
CHIANG MAI – Two unidentified foreign tourist are being praised after they assisted a solder involved in an traffic accident in Chiang Mai.
The accident occurred in Tambon Chiang Dao, Chiang Dao District at around 1:10 p.m, Thai media reported.
The driver of an Isuzu truck opened his vehicle door just as the soldier was passing by on his motorcycle. The solder caught off guard rode directly into the trucks door.
The two foreign tourists, witnessed the crash and immediately came to assist the soldier, waiting with him until emergency services arrived.
According to reports, social media praised the generosity of the foreigners for waiting with the injured soldier. On Netizen wrote “although they were tourists, they created a good impression.”
Tour Bus Transporting Chinese Tourists from Wat Pra That Doi Suthep Crashes
Meanwhile, a bus loaded with Chinese tourist slid off the road on the way back from Wat Pra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai. The bus crashed on the roadside on the way down from Wat Pra That Doi Suthep, near Monthathan Waterfall.
The tour bus carrying Chinese tourists reportedly lost its balance on the curve. Four Chinese tourist were injured, suffering minor cuts and bruises.
