Thailand: 7 Killed and 38 Injured in 3 Separate Road Accidents

SA KAEO — Three people were killed and five others injured in head-on collision between two pick-up trucks in Watthana Nakhon district of Sa Kaeo Province on Sunday.
The accident occurred at 9.20am, involving an Isuzu pick-up truck with six people on board and a Nissan pick-up truck with two passengers.
All six people in the Isuzu pick-up were injured, one woman, Chonthicha Promthao, later died at a hospital of her injuries.
In the Nissan pick-up truck, Chaiya Boonruam, 36, the driver, and his eight-year-old son Chaiyan were also killed.
Meanwhile in Tak Province, Two Myanmar workers were killed and 13 others injured when a van they were traveling in slammed into a fuel truck in Muang district on Saturday.
The van was carrying migrant workers from Mae Sot district to Samut Sakhon province when it crashed head-on with the fuel truck.
The force of the crash killed two workers instantly and injured 13 others. Rescue workers rushed the injured workers to a nearby hospital.
The drivers of the two vehicles escaped unhurt, Police were investigating.
On March 9th, Two passengers were killed and 20 others injured when a chartered bus from Khon Kaen to Maha Sarakham skidded off a curve on KhonKaen-Yang Takad road in Chiang Yuen district of Maha Sarakham and rammed at a tree on the road shoulder.
The incident happened before dawn Wednesday as the chartered bus was carrying students to have an examination in Maha Sarakham.
