Nepalis Former Crown Prince Paras Shah Discharged from Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok

 

BANGKOK – Nepalis Former Crown Prince Paras Shah who had been receiving treatment at Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand following a major heart-attack, has been discharged today.

According to source close to Shah, the doctors have advised him not to travel in aircraft for minimum two months.

The police have also returned his passport, sources added. Shah’s passport was seized after he was arrested for possessing illegal drug.

Thai police had arrested Paras from his residence in the tourist town of Phuket on October 23, with 3.4 grams of marijuana.

He was released the following day after a Thai national deposited 10,000 baht (Thai currency) as bail.
