German Tourist Falls to His Death at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport

BANGKOK – Police are investigating the death of a 52 year-old German tourist who fell from the fourth floor level of the passenger terminal at Suvarnabhumi International Airport on Thursday.

The 52-year-old Mike Schwager landed on a concrete beam on the second floor level, near a toilet behind the duty-free shop in Zone E.

He was given first aid before being rush to Samitivej Suvarnabhumi Hospital. Doctors were unable to save his life.

Police reported that he was scheduled to fly out on October 7th, however he never board his flight and was staying in the terminal. He was due to fly out to Zurich via Dubai.

Police said Germany Embassy has been informed so they can tell his family.
