32 Year-Old Woman Falls to Her Death from Bangkok Condo

The room owner told Rungthiwa to leave through the front door but she climbed back onto the balcony and fell.

BANGKOK – A woman has died after falling from the sixth floor of a Bangkok condominium at 3am this morning. Police identified her as 32 year-old Miss Rungthiwa, a waitress at a Bangkok entertainment place.Police reported she fell from a condominium off Rama IX Road in Bangkok’s Huay Kwang district.Her mother said Runghiwa called her Friday night, threatening to commit suicide if she did not turn up.

While visiting her daughter she became dizzy, so Rungthiwa and her son took the mom to private hospital.

While the three were about to take a taxi back to Rungthiwa’s condo, she started crying that she was being hunted down by four men. She then ran towards the wooded area behind the hospital and disappeared.

The mother and grandson took a taxi to return to her home in Samut Sakhon. She was informed by police that her daughter had died.

The owner of a room on the sixth floor told police that it was raining heavily and Runthiwa climbed into their room from the balcony.  The room owner told Rungthiwa to leave through the front door but she climbed back onto the balcony and fell.

Her body was sent for autopsy to Ramathibodi Hospital, Thai media reported.
