Meghan O’Toole King, an alum of the Real Housewives of Orange County, recently ended her two-month marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens on Monday, Dec. 27. She opened up about how she’s coping with the breakup.
According to King, the situation has been described as ‘profoundly devastating’ on social media. Having expressed grief over the current situation, she mentioned that she is ‘rattled’.

Meghan King and President Joe Biden’s nephew, Cuffe Owens, got married in October
After a whirlwind romance, the President’s nephew and the former housewife got married on Oct. 11, 2021. Owens was introduced as “her man” by King on Instagram on Sept. 25. Meghan O’Toole King is a Los Angeles-based attorney who met Cuffe Biden Owens on a dating app. The first time they spoke, King told Brides, they spent five hours talking on the phone.
As soon as the calls ended, Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis, which was scheduled to depart in eight hours.t wasn’t long before we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and planning our future. It seemed like we never left each other’s side.”
Owens’ parents had the wedding at their Kennett Square home. The anniversary of his parents’ wedding coincided with King and Owens’ wedding date. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden attended the wedding of King and Owens.

The blissful marriage of King and Owens did not last for long, however. They separated after less than three months of marriage.
On Dec. 27, King broke her silence by posting a series of Instagram Stories about the breakup. The first slide of King’s presentation read, “Many outlets and individuals have asked me about my marriage.”.
“I am rattled. I am deeply concerned,” King said in the second slide. The way things turned out has shocked and saddened me – it’s not what I had envisioned when I made my vows.”
She replied, “I’m healing my pain privately with my children while I let go of broken dreams.”
King made a plea to his followers and fans on the final slide. My family and I are navigating this labyrinth of grief with your grace and gentle kindness.”
