Thai PM to Preside Over the Opening of Zero Waste Village Learning Center in Chiang Rai

CHIANG RAI – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will visit Pa Daet district in Chiang Rai on 28 November to observe government projects and meet with local villagers.
He will preside over the opening ceremony for the Zero Waste Village Learning Center at Baan Pong Sri Nakhorn village in Pa Daet district, which received a royally bestowed trophy from the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej as the winning waste-free village in a national competition held by the Department of Environment Quality Promotion in 2015.
The premier will oversee workshops on how to utilize unused materials to generate incomes and on home-stay tourism and will meet with teachers and students at Pa Daet kindergarten.
He will chair a meeting with members of regional public-private committees, give interview with the media at Mae Fah Luang University and observe its botanical project.
