CHIANG RAI – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha took a break from his mobile cabinet meeting yesterday to witnessed the conferral of land-use permits on local residents of Chiang Rai
Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, accompanied members of his Cabinet visited exemplary households of Ban Mueang Ruang in Mae Kon subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai district.
The Prime Minister witnessed the presentation of community forest certificates by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment to community forest leaders from Chiang Rai, Nan, Phayao and Phrae. Land use permits were also granted to local villagers in order to enable them to live or conduct agricultural activities on the allocated land.
The Prime Minister Prayut made a speech to a crowd of villagers before releasing native fish into local waterways, observing community development activities and OTOP products, and visiting Wat Tha Khrai to pay his respects to its principal Buddha image.
