Myanmar Seize Massive Haul of Drugs in Tachilek, Opposite Mae Sai in Chiang Rai

TACHILEK – Myanmar Narcotics suppression police busted a narcotics factory located seven kilometres from the Chiang Rai border, seizing 30 million ya ba pills and other drugs.

Police raided the building tuesday morning in Tachilek, opposite Mae Sai in Chiang Rai, and arrested three men aged 27, 35 and 52 and a 15-year-old girl.

Police Seized 30 million ya ba pills, 85 sacks of ecstasy, eight kilograms of heroin and 500 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

Also seized were 24 gallons of a base chemical for making drugs, three pickup trucks, three shotguns, a tablet press, scales, logo stamps and packaging materials.
