Minor Tremor Jostles Chiang Rai’s Mae Lao District

CHIANG RAI – Meteorological Department’s Seismological Bureau reported a minor earthquake jostled Chiang Rai this morning.

The temblor, measuring just 2.3 on the Richter scale, was centered in the northern province’s Mae Lao district and hit at 7.26am Wednesday the Meteorological Department’s Seismological Bureau said.

The epicenter of the quake was about 4 kilometers underground, no damages were reported.
