BANGKOK – The organizers of the 35th Motor Expo 2018 expect the sales of about 50,000 vehicles comprising 8,000 motorcycles and 45,000 automobiles.

Kwanchai Paphatpong, the chief organizer of the 35th Motor Expo 2018, said the event would be held with the theme of “Enjoy Driving! Before Driverless Era” and would gather 36 car makers from nine countries and 23 motorcycle manufacturers from seven countries.

The expo will also present a wide range of prototype vehicles and new models as well as small boats, speedboats and yachts. Besides, manufacturers of auto decorations and parts from China and Indonesia will discuss business partnerships there.

Mr Kwanchai said he expected the exposition would see orders for 45,000 automobiles and 8,000 motorcycles, attract 1.5 million visitors and have 55 billion baht circulated.

That would help raise the overall vehicle sales in the country above 1 million units this year.

The 35th Motor Expo is set at the IMPACT convention and exhibition complex on Nov 29-Dec 10
