The Redmi K60 (Poco F5) Is Coming Soon. Check It Out

(CTN News) – There is no doubt that Redmi is working on the next generation of high-end K series phones, namely the Redmi K60 lineup, and this is not a secret at all.

In summary, both leaks and certifications have shown that there will be three different models in the Redmi series: the Redmi K60, the Redmi Pro, and the Redmi .

Redmi K60’s retail box was allegedly leaked online by popular tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) who posted images of the box on his social media channels.

It’s safe to say that the company has already started stocking units and has begun mass production. This means it will be ready to launch within a short period of time.

According to the box, the Redmi K50 series appears to be very similar to the Redmi K50 series.

There was an initial expectation that the Redmi K60 would launch by the end of the year. However, as Xiaomi had to delay the 13 series, the K60 family was also delayed to January 2023 as well.

It has been revealed that the MIUI builds of the Redmi K60 series have been leaked by the Xiaomi-focused tech blog Xiaomiui.

It has been revealed that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will launch with MIUI 14 at launch, while the K60E will stick with MIUI 13. This month, Xiaomi will unveil its 13 series of smartphones along with MIUI 14 itself.

Specifications leaked to the media

There have been rumors that the Redmi  will come with a Snapdragon 870 or a Dimensity-8200 chip, according to leaks.

As for the chipsets, the K60 and K60 Pro are likely to use one of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets.

In addition to the 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that runs at 120Hz, the vanilla K60 is said to be powered by a 5,500mAh battery backed by a 67W wired charger.

In order to take stable photos and videos, the device will feature a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).

It is expected that the K60 Pro, on the other hand, will be equipped with the same 120Hz AMOLED panel, but with a higher resolution (2K).

As well as a 50MP main camera, it is also said that it will be equipped with Sony’s IMX766 sensor, which will be based on a 20MP front camera.

At this time, there are no further details available about the Redmi K60 family, nor are there any images available.
