Netflix Restricts Password Sharing In Some Markets, So Amazon Prime Video Jokes

(CTN News) – A mission has been launched by Netflix in order to revive its dwindling subscriber base and increase its revenue at the same time as part of its efforts to revive its dwindling subscriber base.

In order to achieve this goal, the company plans to make several changes to its platform in order to facilitate the achievement of its goals, including restricting the sharing of passwords between users in order to achieve their goals.

It has been reported by the media that Netflix has now prohibited its users from sharing their passwords with anyone else and is trying to monetize the practice.

It was announced earlier this week that would be enforcing its crackdown on password sharing in more countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

It might seem like Netflix’s move to control the sharing of passwords between family and friends makes sense from point of view, but it also opens up an opportunity for its rivals to poke at Netflix’s move from a different perspective.

Netflix’s policy of cracking down on users’ passwords has been pounced upon by Amazon Prime Video UK, which has been retweeting an old tweet that was posted by Netflix a few days ago about the policy.

It was back in 2017 when Amazon Prime reshared a tweet from that declared “Love is sharing a password”, which was a tweet that was originally tweeted in 2017 and was reshared for the first time in 2018.

Further mocking Netflix,

Amazon also used a funny picture which stated: “Who’s watching? Everyone who knows our password.– Everyone who knows our password.

The photo appears to be very similar to Who’s Watching page, but Amazon has substituted the logo with its own name instead of the Netflix logo.

In spite of the fact that the post was all in good fun, Amazon has stated that they will take similar measures in the future.

It was written by Amazon Prime video in one of the replies to users that it was giggling and tweeting and hoping that we did not do the same.
