Siam Navy’s Goal Keeper Attacks Chiangrai Player
Monday night in the Thai Premier League saw Chiangrai run out comfortable 3-nil winners over Siam Navy. Sadly for Siam, who are rock bottom of the division, a crazy attack by their keeper Chinnakorn Deesai made sure that they didn’t just go down losing, but they did so in a disgraceful manner.
For reasons known only to goalie Deesai, after catching a cross in the second half which saw him collide with Chiangrai’s Brazilian forward Edvaldo, the number one turned psycho on his fallen prey. With Edvaldo already on the floor after the coming-together, Deesai unleashed a Thai boxing-esque kick straight into his opponents chest. That left his victim riding around in pain.
The assault was brainless and completely unnecessary, and it put the final nail in Siam’s coffin.
Deesai was immediately sent off, a penalty was awarded, and Chiangrai notched their third and final goal.
