QB Will Levis Was The Odd Man Out On Draft Night

(CTN News) – The only possible reason for Will Levis to drop on day two of the 2023 NFL Draft is his love of mayo in his coffee. This was the only reason to drop on the second day of the draft.

I would say that general managers are willing to make fun of potential candidates no matter what, even if their performance on standardized tests is made up.

It is fair to say that, aside from inconsistencies, inaccuracies, eye tests, and collegiate success, it is the Hellmans-Folgers mochaccinos that are responsible for multiple teams who are in need of a QB passing on the Kentucky product.

That’s it, right? Aren’t you saying that?

There must be a tiebreaker to determine the winner between Anthony Richardson and Will Levis. These are two guys whose physical characteristics could make Todd McShay blush – when the choice comes down to them.

There’s an excellent chance that the handspring Richardson did at Florida’s pro day won the favor of Kentucky, or it could have been the dollop of aioli Will Levis poured over his cold brew.

Do I have a fear of excessive condiment use because of my experience at Subway when people drowned their Italian BMTs in mayo and it gave me a phobia of excessive condiment use because I saw people drown their Italian BMTs in mayo?

That’s for sure, and that’s why I won’t be drafting Will Levis based solely on that fact, which is for sure.

It is, however, important for me to realize that, at the same time, I don’t want to be stuck with a seven-figure gig that keeps getting sabotaged by unqualified quarterback plays for the remainder of my career.

Why Will Levis fell from grace in the first place

In the first round, we were presented to the sad Will Levis family. This is because more organizations were set at quarterback than you thought, despite probably not having an actual franchise quarterback.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Washingtons all passed.

In the opinion of their respective fan bases, Jordan Love, Desmond Ridder, Sam Howell, Ryan Tannehill, and Baker Mayfield do not inspire confidence.

Additionally, once a draft becomes wonky – and Thursday night’s trades certainly were wonky – front offices and war rooms panic because their plans have been disrupted.

The fact that Las Vegas and New Orleans just signed Jimmy Garoppolo or David Carr as their starters does not matter to me.

A quality backup/potential QB1 with high upside for a good value is worth bumping other needs a round for a quarterback with high potential. I have ripped Levis pretty much the entire draft process, and probably before that as well, but even I thought he would be a first round selection because of all the praise he received.

Is it true that NFL general managers are evolving? Have quarterbacks become gun shy as a result of their success rate?

In the recent draft, did social media break through the groupthink that resulted in players such as Mitch Trubisky and Baker Mayfield being selected as top picks?
