PSL 2022, James Faulkner: Australian all-rounder James Faulkner has pulled out of the remaining PSL 2022 matches. Faulkner announced his decision on Twitter on Saturday. Additionally, Faulkner accused the Pakistan Cricket Board of cheating him regarding money.

James Faulkner humiliated by PCB

James Faulkner wrote in his first tweet, “I apologize to the Pakistan cricket fans. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw from the last two matches. I had to take this step due to the non-payment of my fixed salary by PCB. I stayed here for the entire duration, but the board continued to lie to me.”

Faulkner wrote in his next tweet, ‘Sad to leave the league because I wanted to help bring international cricket back to Pakistan. There is a lot of young talent here and the fans are amazing, but the way I was treated is like an insult from PCB and PSL. I am sure you all understand my position.”

PCB suspends James Faulkner

Faulkner’s allegations have been clarified in a statement released by the Pakistan Super League. They have also banned this Australian player from playing in the PSL in the future.

“The PCB and the Quetta Gladiators are disappointed with the behavior of James Faulkner, who was also a part of the HBL Pakistan Super League in 2021,” the statement said. Each participant was treated respectfully as well. There have never been any complaints about the contract in the seven years of the HBL Pakistan Super League.
