According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are prepared to make star forward Kylian Mbappe the world’s highest-paid player to prevent him from possibly moving to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with the Santiago Bernabeu after failing to sign a contract extension at the Parc des Princes, which expires in the summer.

Kylian Mbappe’s salary: PSG could offer a massive new deal
With Kylian Mbappe tearing it up for PSG in both Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League this season, the French club is reportedly keen to offer him a more lucrative contract as they see the 23-year old as one of the best in the world in the next decade.

The Independent reports that Paris Saint-Germain is planning to pay Mbappe a salary of over £500,000 (over Rs 1.5 crore) and closer to £1 million, which no one in the sport has received before. An exorbitant salary would prevent Real Madrid from making a similar deal.
