Pakistan Triumph Over The Kiwis In An ODI To Seal a Series Victory

(CTN News) – The third ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand, which was held in Karachi, Pakistan displayed their dominance by performing impressively in the third match.

This resulted in them convincingly defeating New Zealand by a margin of 3-0, securing a 3-0 victory over New Zealand with two games to spare in the five-match series.

On Wednesday, the third of the five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand took place at the National Bank Cricket Arena here in Karachi, Pakistan.

With New Zealand captain Tom Latham winning the coin toss, the captain decided to field first in the game.

As for Pakistan, they also managed to put together a respectable score on the board thanks to splendid half-centuries by Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam during their innings.

It was an impressive performance by Imam-ul-Haq, who went on to score a remarkable 90 runs off 107 deliveries, in which he hit seven boundaries as well as a six to lead Pakistan’s scoring chart.

Babar Azam, however, performed extremely well in the field as he scored 54 runs off 62 deliveries, which included two boundaries and a six, demonstrating his batting prowess.

Even though Will Young and Tom Blundell made a brilliant start to the match for the New Zealand team, they were not able to chase down the target set by the Pakistan team despite an excellent start to the match.

With an imposing total of 136, the green shirts proved insurmountable, and this proved to be the third consecutive defeat for New Zealand in this five-match series that has been going on for over a year.

During the visiting team’s innings, Tom Blundell emerged as the leading run-scorer after scoring 65 runs off 78 balls, and he has emerged as the leading run-scorer for the team.

Seven boundaries were hit by him in his innings, demonstrating the skill and determination he exhibited during his innings.
