Celtics' Jayson Tatum Wins Game 4 With Another Heroic Performance

(CTN News) – Despite some struggles, the track record has been positive. In spite of that, Jayson Tatum continues to step up every time the Celtics are faced with elimination.

While the C’s rallied to win Game 4 of the series against the Heat to make it a 3-1 series. However, they will need more big games from Jayson Tatum to have a chance to win the series.

According to his most recent performance, Jayson Tatum had 33 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists in the game he played in on Thursday.

It wasn’t a perfect night for him as he piled up five turnovers in the first half; however, it was his second half in which he was more impressive as he excelled in converting his shots. On 11-for-15 shooting, Jayson Tatum scored 25 points during the second half with five assists and one turnover in the half.

“Honestly, I think the result could have been different another way to start the third quarter,” Jayson Tatum said. In the third quarter, we gave up some three-pointers.

It was a turnover that we made. It seems to me that we just need a little bit of time to settle down a little bit. Once a couple of baskets were made, we started to play free, and the game began to flow. As a team, we were getting stops, getting out in transition, the ball was popping, and we were just finding guys to play with.”

During the past two playoffs, Tatum has put up some big performances when the Celtics have faced elimination from the playoffs.

His 51-point game against the 76ers in Game 7 is one of the most memorable games of his career. In Game 6, a road win against the Bucks last season in Milwaukee, the C’s also needed every bit of the 46 points he scored.

Even during Game 6 against the Sixers, Tatum was able to bounce back from a nightmare game in order to succeed in knocking down multiple 3-pointers in the final minutes.

As a result, the Celtics have dropped the first three games of the East Finals. Tatum has scored 30 points or more in three of the four games, but the wins have not been forthcoming.

However, the Celtics have at least forced a Game 5 to be played at TD Garden. There is still a good chance that the C’s will reach the NBA Finals, but at least they have given themselves a fighting chance.

Jayson Tatum deserves a lot of credit for this.

We need to regroup,” Jayson Tatum said. “That is exactly what we did. There were two possible outcomes. We could have separated or brought us together, but we settled in, and we began to play.

It was obvious that shots were falling, and things like that, but I think we were simply playing the right way. As a team, we were getting stops and moving the ball. It was a good game.”
