5 Greatest Accomplishments In Tom Brady's Career

Tom Brady is one of the most highly decorated players in the history of the National Football League.

He is also widely regarded as the greatest quarterback that the NFL has ever seen, which is proven by his incredible awards and accolades.

As Tom Brady is returning for another football season, NFL lines have listed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as one of the favorites to win this year’s Super Bowl.

If you want to know more about the Buccaneer’s quarterback, look no further! Here are five of the greatest accomplishments in Brady’s impressive career.

10 Super Bowls

Reaching a single Super Bowl takes a lot of hard work and determination. Tom Brady makes it look like a breeze, having reached this significant milestone ten times in his career.

The greatest accomplishment, however, is that Tom Brady has been the starting quarterback in all ten of these games.

The majority of his Super Bowl appearances occurred during his time with the New England Patriots.

All in all, Tom Brady played in nine of his Super Bowl appearances with the Patriots – winning six of them in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2015, 2017, and 2019.

Tom Brady’s other Super Bowl win occurred during his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.

Here, Tom Brady made history by becoming the first ever player in the NFL to win seven Super Bowls. He also has the most career games in Super Bowl history, a record that has yet to be beaten.

5 Super Bowl MVPs

The award for the most valuable player in a Super Bowl is the most outstanding individual award available for an American football player to achieve.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no formula for winning this coveted award.

Over 26,000 football players have participated in the Super Bowl championship since it began. Yet only 48 of them can claim to be Super Bowl MVPs.

Only five players have won multiple Super Bowl MVPs in their career, all of which played as the quarterback for their respective teams. More than half of the appointed MVPs in the history of the Super Bowl have been QBs.

Synonymous with the Super Bowl MVP award over the past two decades, the talented quarterback is the only NFL player to have ever won five separate MVP awards.

He won four of these with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers.

Seven Super Bowl Titles

Most players would be happy with even one Super Bowl win – but not Brady!

Tom Brady has won a spectacular total of seven Super Bowl championships, each one becoming increasingly more astounding as the years have gone by.

His most recent win occurred during his first year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.

Super Bowl LV was billed as the passing of the torch from Tom Brady to younger star Patrick Mahomes.

However, Brady’s impeccable performance was a stark reminder of his talent on the field, and the GOAT managed to maintain his winning streak.

From a statistical standpoint, it was Brady’s best all-around Super Bowl performance.

The veteran quarterback played fluently, throwing for three touchdowns in total and zero interceptions against the Kansas City Chiefs. As a result, the Buccaneers won 31-9.

3 MVPs

In addition to Super Bowl MVPs, Brady has also been selected as MVP for multiple regular seasons.

His first win came in 2007 when the Patriots finished the regular season undefeated, later losing to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

However, this was the year when Brady threw his largest amount of touchdowns in a single season. Though his team couldn’t claim the ring, they were praised for their incredible performance.

Tom Brady was also named MVP in 2010. Again, he earned this title in a season where the Patriots lost out on the championship, but he most definitely deserved the award for his record.

He finished this regular NFL season with 335 successive passes without a single interception.

WhileBrady’s record is impressive, he is tied second with Brett Fevre for regular season MVPs. Peyton Manning remains in the lead with five wins.

278 Wins

Many people will argue that quarterback wins don’t count as a statistic, but that should definitely not be the case.

Especially in terms of Tom Brady.

As one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history, Brady has an impressive number of wins under his belt.

To start, he has achieved 243 wins in regular season games and then seen victory in 35 postseason games (almost twice that of other QBs). This makes a grand total of 278 wins.

Brady is also the only QB in the NFL to win all 16 regular season games, a feat he accomplished in 2007.

He also holds a .789 winning percentage which happens to be the highest number among NFL quarterbacks that have started 100 games.

Summary

With a legacy that is set in stone by years of hard work and dedication to the game, Tom Brady truly is one of the football greats.

With a couple more years of playing ahead of him, there’s plenty of time for this record-breaking QB to continue his winning streak.
