WWE 2K22 Official Trailer Released: Check Release Date & Pre-order Bonus

The official announcement trailer for one of the most anticipated sports video games, WWE 2K22, has been released by the American video game publisher 2K. The WWE 2K22 release date was also announced alongside the trailer. In an interesting twist, Rey Mysterio is the cover star for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the upcoming WWE title.

The WWE 2K22 cover star is Rey Mysterio, who is celebrating his 20th year with WWE this year. A special Career Showcase is also available for Mysterio. Rey Mysterio talked about facing some of the most popular WWE wrestlers, such as The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, during the briefing for the game. Mysterio and his son Dominik became the first father-son team to win a Tag Team title in 2021, and Mysterio expressed his wish to appear at WrestleMania with his son.

WWE 2K22 release date

WWE 2K22 will be released on March 11, 2022, as revealed in the official announcement trailer. It will be available on all leading consoles, including the PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/X/S and Windows PC. According to 2K’s official website, “WWE 2K returns with all the features you can handle! Take control of the WWE Universe in real-time with the biggest and most realistic-looking WWE Superstars and Legends.”

WWE 2K22 gameplay and features

The game will feature all the popular WWE wrestlers with improved looks. A new visual effects engine, new camera angles, and more features will also enhance the game’s graphics. In the 2K showcase mode, players will be able to relive all the iconic moments in Rey Mysterio’s character. There is also an all-new model called MyFACTION. A player can also create his or her own character to step into the ring in the game.
