Users can now benchmark Street Fighter 6 on their PCs and start creating their avatar for use in both the PC and Xbox versions of the game.
Two characters, some lessons, and a sample of the World Tour story mode are all included in the free demo.
Street Fighter 6 demo is available for free download on Steam and the Xbox Store
The trial was first made available last week on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but it is now also available on PCs and Xbox Series consoles.
The Street Fighter 6 demo will probably be accessible indefinitely, unlike the previous closed betas, as Capcom makes no mention of an expiration date.
Despite the absence of the online Battle Hub, it will provide a complete understanding of the fighting mechanism in a few different modes.
Players can choose between Ryu and Luke, two playable characters, in the demo. Users can engage in standard offline one-on-one combat with a human opponent or a robot.
The Extreme Battle option, which gives battles stage gimmicks and unique win circumstances, is also available in the trial. The training room and Genbu Temple are the two stages that are featured in the demo.
The tutorials and guidelines are available for players who are new to Street Fighter or who want to improve their skills.
The tutorials walk new players through the three control methods in the game:
- The traditional six-button layout,
- The new three-button “modern” layout (makes executing special moves easier),
- The super-accessible auto-combo “dynamic” style.
The character guides walk players through each character’s distinctive qualities.
The demo also includes an early chapter of the World Tour story mode, in which players create avatars while exploring the game world and engaging in character combat.
Avatars do carry over into the full game, provided users preserve their save files and play the full release on the same platform, even though World Tour progress from the demo isn’t carried over.
Capcom released Street Fighter 6’s PC system requirements, which are comparable to those of several current releases
An AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-7500 processor, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 GPU, 8GB of system RAM, and 4GB of VRAM are listed as the minimum specifications.
The game suggests an RTX 2070 or RX 5700XT, 16GB of system RAM, and 6GB of VRAM in addition to an i7 8700 or Ryzen 5 3600.
Although the anticipated resolutions and graphics settings are not listed in the system spec list, 60 frames per second (fps) is always the desired framerate for combat games.
rThe specifications are applicable to the demo, however the actual game specifications can vary before release.
On Friday, June 2, Street Fighter 6 will be released on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
