Rockstar Games confirms GTA 6
Rockstar Games said in an official blog post that “with every new project we embark on, we seek to move significantly beyond what we have previously delivered – and we’re happy to confirm that Grand Theft Auto V is in active development now.” GTA fans have been expecting Rockstar Games to launch GTA 6 for a couple of years. Now that the company has confirmed that it is actively working on the successor to GTA V, the possibility of GTA 6 launching soon is more likely than ever.
GTA V and GTA Online coming to gaming consoles
Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online will be available on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 on March 15, 2022. Both games will have a new graphics mode supporting up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Additionally, the game will feature improved textures, improved draw distances, HDR options, and better ray-tracing. Furthermore, since the latest generation of gaming consoles is fast, the loading time of games will be reduced significantly.
Players will be able to continue their progress on consoles
Grand Theft Auto Online and GTA V gamers who wish to play on the latest gaming consoles can also continue their storyline of the video game from the desktop to the consoles by transferring their progress in Story Mode and their current GTA Online characters, as well as progression to PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.
